Not at this time. Cosmic Splat currently focuses on bringing immersive art experiences to schools, camps, residential care facilities, corporate offices, and businesses.
To ensure a seamless, high-energy event, our full-sized shuttle bus requires the specialized access and space found at commercial sites. By sticking to these types of venues, we can guarantee the best possible environment for our artists.
Looking to catch the glow? While we don’t offer private residential bookings, we’d love to see you at one of our high-energy Community Pop-Up Events!
Some cities require Cosmic Splat to file for a temporary use permit (fee is typically $0-$100), even when we are operating on private property. The city can take 5 business days - 3 weeks to approve the permit, provided there are no hiccups. Booking early gives us a comfortable window to get all the paperwork approved so your event goes off without a hitch!
If your city requires a permit, we recommend booking a month or more in advance to be safe. To make it a hassle-free experience for you, we handle the filing!
Our scheduling is tailored to your headcount. We can accommodate small groups (10 or fewer) all at once, or set up a seamless rotation schedule for large groups (more than 10).
To secure a spot on our event calendar for your on-site field trip, we use the following payment process:
Securing Your Date: A non-refundable $150 deposit and a signed Service Agreement are required to reserve Cosmic Splat for your event.
Temporary Use Permit: To make things easy, Cosmic Splat will handle the paperwork and filing for any city-required temporary use permit (typically $0-$100). We simply pass the exact cost of the permit along to you on your final invoice—no markups, no hassle.
Travel Fee: A $25-$100 travel fee will apply to locations beyond our 25-mile range.
Final Balance: Your remaining balance is due 48 hours before your event. Please note that we are unable to accept day-of payments.
Payment Issues: In the event of a returned payment, the balance must be resolved within 24 hours. A $50 returned payment fee will be applied to the total.
Rescheduling: We offer one complimentary reschedule with 7 or more days' notice.
Late-Notice Changes: Rescheduling requests made with less than 7 days' notice are subject to a $75 service fee to secure a new date.
Cancellations: All field trip bookings include a $150 non-refundable retainer. Cancellations made with more than 48 hours' notice will receive a refund of the remaining balance.
The 'No-Launch' Window: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before our scheduled arrival are non-refundable. In these cases, we strongly recommend rescheduling to a new date.
Colorado Weather Policy: If Cosmic Splat determines that weather conditions (heavy snow, ice, or winds exceeding 35 mph) make it unsafe for the shuttle to launch, we will contact you to reschedule at no cost.
Cosmic Splat reserves the right to reschedule or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to safety concerns or equipment issues.
We are proud to support local nonprofits by bringing our studio directly to you! 501(c)(3) organizations can book Cosmic Splat for an on-site event at their location at our field trip rate + the cost of any city-required temporary use permit (typically $0-$100) and travel fee (if required).
Our scheduling is tailored to your headcount. We can accommodate small groups (10 or fewer) all at once, or set up a seamless rotation schedule for large groups (more than 10).
This is a Host-Managed fundraiser, meaning your organization provides the venue, as well as manages Splat Pass Wristband sales and distribution. We stick to what we do best; providing an unforgettable immersive art experience.
Select Your Package: Choose the flat-rate package that best fits your expected attendance.
$375+tax for 1 hour (Up to 25 painters)
$675+tax for 2 hours (Up to 50 painters)
$975+tax for 3 hours (Up to 75 painters)
$1275+tax for 4 hours (Up to 100 painters)
Temporary Use Permit: Some cities require Cosmic Splat to file for a temporary use permit to set up, even when we are operating on private property. The fee for the temporary use permit (typically $0-$100) will be added to your final invoice at cost.
Booking & Payment Milestone Schedule:
Initial Payment: To secure your date and initiate the city permit process, a non-refundable retainer of $150 is due immediately upon signing.
Final Balance: The remaining balance (Package Rate + Permit Fee + Travel Fee) must be paid in full at least 14 days prior to your event date.
Wristband Release: Once your final balance is paid, your Splat Pass wristbands will be issued. Pro-Tip: Pay early to maximize your pre-sale window! Treat these wristbands like cash—they represent a pre-paid entry. They should only be distributed after your supporters have contributed to your cause.
Manage Your Sales: We suggest selling the Splat Pass Wristbands at our community pop-up event price of $25+tax.
Keep the Profit: Think of the booking fee and temporary use permit as your only costs. Anything you collect beyond that is 100% profit for your organization. We do not take a percentage of your fundraising efforts. Please note, unused Splat Pass entries are not eligible for refunds or credits.
Rescheduling: We offer one complimentary reschedule with 7 or more days' notice.
Late-Notice Changes: Rescheduling requests made with less than 7 days' notice are subject to a $75 service fee to secure a new date.
Cancellations: All bookings include a $150 non-refundable retainer. If you cancel before your Splat Pass Wristbands are issued, you will receive a refund of your remaining balance, minus the permit fee if already filed with the city.
The Point of No Return: Once your Splat Pass Wristbands have been released to your organization, the booking is non-refundable. Because these wristbands represent a fixed cash value, we cannot issue refunds after they are in your possession.
Late Cancellations: Regardless of wristband status, any cancellation made less than 48 hours before your event is non-refundable. In these cases, we strongly recommend rescheduling to a new date.
Safety & Logistics: Safety is our number one priority. If extreme weather (heavy snow or rain, icy conditions, lightning, or high winds) makes operation unsafe, we reserve the right to reschedule the event at no cost to the host.
Mechanical Issues: If the bus is unable to reach your location due to mechanical issues, we will notify the Host immediately to reschedule at no additional cost. If a reschedule is not possible, a full refund (including the retainer) will be issued.
To qualify for our non-profit package, we require a copy of your IRS Determination Letter or a recent Form 990.
The event itself follows the same process and rotations as our on-site field trips.
We love collaborating with local businesses to create a vibrant community atmosphere! If you're within 25 miles of Thornton, CO, we do not require a travel fee. Locations beyond 25 miles, but still within our service area may require a $25-$100 travel fee.
Have a destination further away? We love an excuse to travel! If you manage a campground, offer lodging, or own a property outside our service area and are interested in a trade or barter for accommodations in exchange for an unforgettable Cosmic Splat experience on-site, we’d be thrilled to discuss booking options with you!
We request that our hosts cover any city-required temporary use permits (typically $0–$100) and the applicable travel fee for locations outside our 25-mile range. This makes hosting a Cosmic Splat Community Pop-up Event a high-impact, low-overhead way to bring a splash of neon energy to your venue. While your customers enjoy a unique, pay-to-paint experience, you benefit from increased foot traffic and a standout event that keeps the community talking!
How it works:
Temporary Use Permit: Some cities require Cosmic Splat to file for a temporary use permit to set up, even when we are operating on private property.
You only need to provide us with the funds to cover the permit and the travel fee (if required) so we can schedule your event date.
The Space: To safely operate the Cosmic Splat mobile studio and provide the best experience for our painters, we require a level, paved (or hard-packed) surface with the following clearances:
The Parking Footprint: We need a dedicated space that is at least 35' long by 15' wide. This accommodates the 26' length and 8' width of our shuttle, while providing a buffer zone for our entry door, ADA lift, and our outdoor gear-up station.
ADA Lift: For all Community Pop-Up Events, we require 7' of unobstructed space on the passenger side of the shuttle. This allows the lift to fully extend and provides a safe turnaround radius for painters needing a little more room.
Vertical Clearance: Please ensure there are no low-hanging tree branches, power lines, or building overhangs lower than 12'.
Surface Type: For the safety of our guests and our equipment, the bus must be parked on a flat, stable surface like concrete, asphalt, or very firm, level gravel. We cannot park on soft grass or inclines.
No tight quarters or sharp 90-degree turns.
Power Needs: Cosmic Splat is equipped with an onboard power station that can keep the temperature inside the shuttle comfortable for up to 2 hours. If your event is longer than 2 hours, we will require access to a standard 110V/20-amp outlet (like a typical garage or outdoor socket) within 45 feet of our parking spot. This ensures we can run our climate control systems, keeping the vibe cool in the summer and cozy in the winter.
The Cost: The only thing we ask you to cover is the cost of the temporary use permit if your city requires one and the travel fee if you are outside of our 25-mile range!
The Hype: We’re in this together! To ensure a packed shuttle and a vibrant turnout, we ask our hosts to spread the word through social media, newsletters, and on-site signage. We’ll do the same on our end, tagging your business and sharing the event with our growing community of artistronauts.
The Splat: We handle the logistics, the mess, and the instruction from start to finish. Your community enjoys an all-inclusive $25+tax community pop-up rate, while you get the credit for hosting the most talked-about event in the neighborhood. It’s a complete turnkey experience for your space.
The Glow-Up: Beyond just attracting new faces, a Cosmic Splat Community Pop-up Event is the ultimate re-engagement tool. It gives your regulars a fresh, exciting reason to put your business back on their radar and see your brand in a whole new (neon) light.
Ready to bring the glow to your space? Let’s chat about your location and get our shuttle on the flight deck.
To officially put your event on the Cosmic Calendar, we require a $150 non-refundable retainer and a signed service agreement. This ensures your date is protected and allows us to begin prepping your supplies. Excluding fundraisers, the remaining balance is due 48 hours before your event.

We aim to make your booking and event experience as seamless as possible! We use Square to process all transactions securely. We currently accept:
All Major Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and UnionPay.
Contactless "Tap" Payments: Use your phone or watch via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay for a lightning-fast checkout at community pop-up events or to purchase an add-on item, like a mini UV flashlight.
Cash App Pay: Scan a custom QR code on our terminal to pay instantly using your Cash App balance.
Digital Invoices: For corporate or school bookings, we can send a secure Square Invoice directly to your email for easy online payment via credit card or ACH bank transfer.
For extra convenience, we also accept Venmo, allowing you to pay using your Venmo balance or a linked account.
To keep the line moving and our artists glowing, we do not accept cash payments. Cosmic Splat is a cashless studio. We accept all major credit cards and mobile tap-to-pay options.
We require your final headcount 7 days prior to your event. This allows us to:
Finalize the Schedule: We’ll calculate exactly how many Splat Shifts are needed so your event runs like clockwork.
Prep Your Gear: We ensure we have enough protective wear, canvases, and fresh paint prepped for every single guest.
Confirm the Balance: Since your final payment is due 48 hours before the event, having the headcount locked in at the 7-day mark ensures your final invoice is 100% accurate.
Please note: Once the 7-day window has passed, the headcount can be increased (if time and supplies allow), but it cannot be decreased for billing purposes.
We want your event to be absolutely unforgettable! We’ve found that the best way to make that happen is with a quick chat.
Because every Cosmic Splat experience is fully customized, we handle all bookings exclusively over the phone. This allows us to dial in every detail to ensure your event is perfect.
A few quick things to note before you call:
Where we Splat: We provide immersive art experiences exclusively to schools, camps, residential care facilities, and corporate offices, bringing our bus directly to locations across the Denver Metro area.
Residential Policy: Due to the size and specialized logistics of our shuttle bus, we do not host private events at residential addresses (houses or apartments).
Site Requirements: During our call, we’ll help determine if your chosen location has the necessary clearance and space for the shuttle to operate safely.
Ready to start planning? Fill out our contact form or give us a call at 720-258-6595 so we can start planning!
Due to the specialized setup and transition time required for our mobile studio, we do not offer pro-rated pricing or split package durations.
