Unlike traditional art classes, there are no mistakes here—only splashes, swipes, drips, pours, and splats. Under our UV blacklights, every drop of paint pops with an electric glow, making the experience as much about the process as it is about the final product!

The Cosmic Splat Process

We’ve designed the Immersive Splatter & Pour Paint Experience to be seamless and stress-free for painters of all ages! Little Artistronauts are welcome to dive right into the messy fun—though if they want to try the pour technique, little hands might need a quick co-pilot assist from their grownup to help tilt, swirl, and control the flow.

The Suit Up Station: Before you board, you'll visit our outdoor Suit Up Station to put on your protective wear.

​

The Gear Up Station: Next, you'll head over to our Gear Up Station to grab a caddy, which you’ll fill with your choice of paint colors (we carry an array of neons as well as classic rainbow colors, black, white, and metallic options) along with your launchpad of creative tools.

​

The Studio: After you board the shuttle, you’ll have 20 minutes of pure creative freedom to use the colors and tools you selected to splatter, pour, drip, and design your masterpiece.

Want to take your glowing art to the next level? Here are a few insider secrets from our crew to help you master the splat and the pour.

Coat Your Canvas: Your new canvas is very thirsty! Apply a thin base layer of paint before you start splatting or pouring to help the paint flow smoothly.

​

Embrace the Layers (But Don't Over-Stir): Neon paints are most vibrant when they sit on top of each other. Whether you are pouring or splatting, if you brush or blend them too much, they can start to look muddy. Layer your pours, drips, and splats to keep your colors crisp and electric.

​

The Glow Hierarchy: Not all neon colors are created equal under the blacklight!​​ 

​​

• The Unsung Heroes: Fluorescent blue and purple have a softer glow, but they are essential for adding depth and shadows. Use them as your base or background to make the brighter colors really explode off the canvas.

​​

• The Superstars: Fluorescent yellow, green, orange, and pink are the brightest and will pop the most.

​

The Special Effects Palette: While the neon colors bring the glow, our black, white, rainbow, and metallic paints are creative accents that give your masterpiece extra personality.

• Standard Rainbow Colors: Too many neon colors mixed together can sometimes turn milky or gray under normal light. Standard primary colors have a heavier pigment load. Including one or two in your kit creates a high-end modern abstract look in daylight while revealing a neon secret under UV light.​

• The Shimmer Factor: Our gold, bronze, and silver paints add a touch of magic to both splatters and pours. While they don't glow under blacklight like neons, they reflect UV light for a eye-catching metallic shimmer.

• Electric White: White is the ultimate highlight. A few well-placed drops or thin poured ribbons of white will look like sparkling stars or bright lunar highlights under UV lights.

White Space is Your Friend: You don't have to cover every single inch of the canvas. Sometimes leaving a little negative space makes your neon splats and pours look even more intense.
