Terms & Conditions
By using this website or booking an event with Cosmic Splat, you agree to the following terms:
Bookings & Payments
A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to secure the date and time of your event. Your slot is not booked until this deposit is received.
Final payment is due 48 hours before your event. Day-of payments are not accepted.
Returned payments must be resolved within 24 hours. A $35 returned payment fee will be applied.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
The $100 deposit is non-refundable, but can be transferred to another date. You may reschedule one time for free with 7 or more days' notice. A $50 rescheduling fee will apply if less than 7 days notice is given.
Cosmic Splat reserves the right to reschedule or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather, safety concerns, or equipment issues.
Parking & Space Requirements
The Cosmic Splat Bus is approximately 26' long and 8' wide. It requires a flat, safe area measuring at least 35–40 feet in length and 12–14 feet in width to allow for comfortable parking, setup, and safe participant movement around the vehicle.
The space should be free of low-hanging branches, overhead obstructions, or tight turns that could restrict access.
If wheelchair access is needed, the lift requires approximately 5 feet of additional clear, level space extending from the side of the bus. This ensures the platform can fully lower and allows adequate room for safe entry and exit.
The space must be blocked off prior to our arrival. If the space is blocked when we arrive, we will wait 10 minutes while cars are moved. After 10 minutes, the extra waiting time will come out of your party time.
If we cannot safely park, your event becomes a same-day cancellation and no refund will be provided.
Travel Fees
Travel fees are included in the package price for locations within 25 miles of 13495 Holly St., Thornton, CO 80602. Locations beyond 25 miles are subject to a travel surcharge or may be out of our service range. Contact us for details.
Event Participation
Cosmic Splat experiences are designed to be fun, creative, and immersive, but they can get messy. While we provide protective gear, paint may come into contact with clothing, skin, hair, or personal items. Participants choose to take part at their own risk.
Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising children and ensuring participants follow all safety guidelines provided during the event.
Guest Count
Your final headcount is due 7 days before your event, as we prep your protective gear, paint, and canvases based on this number.
Your guest count determines how much time each person has in the bus. The bus can accommodate about 10 people at a time (fewer if there are wheelchairs present). We recommend at least 20 minutes per person. Parties with more than 25 painters should book an extra hour so participants don't feel rushed.
Access Delays & Late Starts
Cosmic Splat will arrive 30 minutes before your start time to set up. If your group is not ready at the scheduled start time, we cannot delay your event. We start and end at scheduled times. If our schedule allows, you may be able to add an extra 30 minutes for $100.
Safety & Behavior
Our guests' safety is our #1 priority. To ensure a fun and positive experience for everyone, all participants are expected to follow staff instructions and treat others with respect at all times.
Running, roughhousing, throwing paint, or engaging in paint fights is not permitted. Paint and materials are provided for creative use on canvases only.
Any behavior that may put participants, staff, or equipment at risk will result in the individual(s) being asked to leave the bus and a refund will not be provided.
Participants should wear the provided protective gear and use all materials as intended. Cosmic Splat reserves the right to pause or stop an activity if safety guidelines are not being followed. If an event is stopped due to safety concerns, a refund will not be provided.
Parents, guardians, teachers, group leaders, or designated caregivers are responsible for supervising minors or anyone needing extra assistance to ensure all participants follow safety rules and maintain a respectful environment for other painters, our equipment, and the studio. The responsible party assumes liability for any damages caused to the bus or its property.
Outside Items
To ensure the best possible glow and the highest quality results, we do not allow outside art supplies on the bus. This includes, but is not limited to, personal canvases, paints, stickers, or embellishments. We provide everything you need for a perfectly vibrant, 'Cosmic' masterpiece!
Add-Ons
Bring the experience glow home! Mini UV flashlights are available for $6+tax. They can be added to your package or purchased the day of the event.

Cosmic Splat is not liable for any injuries, allergic reactions, lost items, or damage to personal property that may occur during participation in our activities.
